Welcome to Shop with the Sheriff
The Shop with the Sheriff initiative is a proactive partnership between the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, the
Seminole County Police Athletic League, Seminole County Boys and Girls and local area Wal-Marts. Each year,
320 kids are selected by the East Altamonte, West Sanford and Midway Boys and Girls Clubs based upon needs.
The youth are taken to breakfast and then transported to a Wal-mart where they each get to spend approximately
$100 each on clothing and back to school items other school supplies. At the end of the day, each youth is given
a free backpack full of school supplies.
